A Little Introduction
The characer of Robin Soltini Scorpio has been gracing the screens since 1985, when seven-year-old Kimberly McCullough originated the role. Viewers watched her grow up before their eyes as Robin dealt with the loss of her parents, her tragic first love Stone and her second chance at love with Jason Morgan. In 1999, in the wake of a bitter break up with Jason, Robin left for Paris and medical school.
She returned in 2005 and over the last three years, she’s found love yet again. Patrick Drake was an arrogant surgeon that tested her patience but eventually earned her respect and later, her love. They developed a deep devotion to each other but often butt heads as each are equally stubborn. Robin learned that her father was alive in 2006 after believing him to be dead for thirteen years.
In 2007, the character of Robin Scorpio began her tenure on a spin off show, General Hospital: Night Shift. She and Patrick spearhead the show, which focuses ore on the hospital and the late night events. Kimberly continues her dual responsibility in the second season.
2008 has seen many developments for the flawed heroine as she takes on her biggest task yet — a baby. Robin is due in October and despite Patrick’s many attempts to prove that he’s ready to be a father, Robin still finds herself unsure and recently turned down a proposal of marriage. Where will the next year take Robin? Only time will tell.
